Shallum speaks

Not just the guy who plays for Fuzon, as has been evidenced by Shallum Xavier’s expansion into working with other artists such as Zara Madni and Nade Ali Zaidi; Shallum has also produced songs for Abbas Ali Khan, Lucky Ali, Ahmed Jehanzeb and Bushra Ansari in his studio, Point One Three.

“Unfortunately what happens is,” explains Shallum, “that one gets caught up in touring with the band, recording our own album, stuff at the studio, and publicizing the studio gets neglected.”

“Eventually, you don’t have the energy to,” he concludes. But with Koolmuzone recently reporting the relaunch of the studio, it seems Shallum is finally ready to take Point One Three to the public eye.

“Initially it was a jamming studio,” Shallum says, “Gumby, myself and Zen and Haniya have jammed there, making basic structures of songs.” Apart from working with local artists, he has also prepared backup structure for songs for Norwegian artists.

Cold Weather

When school starts, it always means a time for renewal in teen fashion (read: a time to find a great new look!). The first day of school has passed, and hopefully, the first appearance you made after the summer break was a good one, because first impressions do matter. But never fear, there’s always room for improvement!

Keep things simple and classic, nothing in-your-face or over the top. It’s okay to be a little trendy, but you have to adapt the trends to your personal style, or you’ll end up looking like a major trend-chaser. Put on the confidence! If you don’t have it, fake it. When you do not doubt yourself, no one else will doubt you or your clothing choices.
